Most soles in the world are black, and this tube is the version of the formula that matches them. Fill a worn heel or re-glue a dark sole and the repair reads as part of the shoe, not a patch on it.

Color is camouflage

A clear repair on black rubber shows as a glossy scar; the black formula simply becomes more sole. On dark boots, trainers and dress shoes, tint is the difference between repaired and invisible.

Same muscle as the clear

The pigment changes nothing underneath: identical thick body, identical flexible cure, identical grip on rubber and leather. Choose by the color of the shoe, never by strength.

Heel edges and toe drags

The two spots dark shoes die: the outer heel edge ground diagonal by gait, and the toe dragged by drivers and cyclists. Both rebuild in thin black layers that wear like the original rubber.

Blend and feather

Before the formula sets, smooth the surface with a tool dipped in soapy water and feather the edges into the surrounding sole. Once cured, a light sanding matches the sheen of worn rubber almost exactly.
